Lecture performance

60 minutes

Der Swiss artist Simon Senn purchased a detailed digital reproduction of a woman's body online for $12, which he brings to life in virtual reality, modifies, uses, and makes available for sensual purposes. But is that even allowed? Who does this body belong to? Senn travels to England to find the person whose body replica he has purchased, uncovering unexpected connections between technology, representation, gender, and the law. In his lecture performance “Be Arielle F.,” he reflects on the ethical dimensions of the digital industry.Be Arielle F.« reflektiert er die ethischen Dimensionen der digitalen Industrie.
